There will be extra public transport runs on November 18
On November 18 public transport (buses, trolleybuses and trams) will run according to holiday schedules, but minibuses will run according to Sunday schedule. We also remind that free public transport services do not include minibuses, in which fare is to be paid as usually.
For passengers to reach more comfortably the places where festive events will be held, there will extra public transport runs from the city centre on November 18 from 18:00 till 00:00. There will be additional runs on tram routes No. 4, 5, 6, 7, 10 and 11, bus routes No. 2, 3, 11, 12 (combined bus route No. 12/23/26 – see the map), 18, 24, 25, 37, 40, 41, 50, 51, 52 and 53, and on trolleybus routes No. 9, 14, 15, 17, 18, 22 and 27.

On November 18, during the march of Latvian student corporations from the University of Latvia to the Brothers’ Cemetery, short public transport delays are likely from 7:30 till 11:00 on the routes touching upon Raiņa Boulevard, Brīvības Boulevard, Brīvības Street, Cēsu Street, Mēness Street, Miera Street, Klusā Street, Brasa Bridge, and Gaujas Street.
On November 18, during the parade of the National Armed Forces, public transport delays are likely after 13:00 on the routes touching upon Akmens Bridge, Aspazijas Boulevard, Raiņa Boulevard, Merķeļa Street, Brīvības Street, and Bruņinieku Street.
On November 18, during the torch light parade, short public transport delays are likely from 18:00 till 19:15 on the routes touching upon Krišjāņa Valdemāra Street and Zigfrīda Annas Meierovica Boulevard.
On November 18, during the solemn event and President’s speech at the Freedom Monument, short public transport delays are likely from 19:00 till 20:30 on the routes touching upon Zigfrīda Annas Meierovica Boulevard, Aspazijas Boulevard, Raiņa Boulevard, and Brīvības Street.
During the salute, public transport delays are likely on the routes going across the Akmens Bridge. If during the salute the Akmens Bridge will be closed for transport traffic, then during this period bus No.22 will go across the Salu Bridge. In this case, bus No. 22 will run by the route to the 13th January Street, then in the 13th January Street, 11th November Embankment, Krasta Street, across the Salu Bridge, in Mūkusalas Street, Akmeņu Street, Valguma Street, Uzvaras Boulevard and further by the route. Public transport stop „Grēcinieku Street” will not be served, but stop „National Libarary” will be transferred behind the crossing of Uzvaras Boulevard and Valguma Street.
Customer service centres will be closed on November 18.
